DML - What are ceramides?

Ceramides are lipids (fats) that are naturally occurring in your skin. As these lipids break down, that’s partially what causes the cellular decay that leads to fine line and wrinkles. Ceramides hold skin together and form a protective layer to help prevent moisture loss and visible damage from environmental stressors. Ceramides also help to keep your skin supple by filling the spaces between skin cells to help lock in moisture. As we age, we start to lose ceramides. This results in dry and itchy skin, pulling sensations, and wrinkles.

 Does CeraLift contain ceramides?
It doesn't contain ceramides, which are fats that naturally occur in your skin - rather it contains "Ceramosides", which are plant based compounds. Ceramosides act as glue to help our natural Ceramides stick together.
