DML - Does this product contain too much copper?

Copper is one of the many micronutrients that the body does not need an excessive amount of. The National Academy of Sciences' Food and Nutrition Board suggests no more than 10 mg/day for safety (Copper Development Association). CeraLift for example contains 2 mg, which has a safe dosage of copper and under the upper limit!

Copper accumulation occurs when the build up rate of copper is greater than the rate of getting rid of the excess metal, which results in copper toxicity. Though low copper intake is common, the overall consumption of copper varies from person to person and depends on their daily diet and lifestyle habits. According to recent studies, only 25% of the US population consume the amount of copper a day estimated to be adequate by the US Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences

So no, this product does not contain too much copper!
